What do I do when I hit the wall?

When gifted students "hit the wall" and are struggling with a problem here are some options to help in the situation.
These are some ideas from my own gifted students:
"When I hit the wall, I wait for help."
"I look at the problem and concentrate."
"I do yoga and meditation."
"I try anything I can think of."
and my favorite quote...... " I slouch like a couch potato."

Do you have any other suggestions?  What can help us cope when we are struggling?

Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy students at Nixon elementary are working on Building their own Business.  They are creating 30 second commercials for their business and a model of what their store will look like.
They had to go through multiple business options before deciding what their final business was going to be.  It had to be something that they had the expertise in and it also had to be something that would make a profit.

Our Future Business Leaders of tomorrow are working hard to make their ideas reality :)
